Abstract
Occupational health hazards are a recognized global problem for healthcare workers, especially nurses. This descriptive cross-sectional study of 339 nurses in three teaching hospitals of Kathmandu found adequate knowledge (68.1%) but poor preventive practice (25.4%), indicating higher risk of occupational hazards and the need for training, protective equipment and effective occupational health programs.
